Sprint
Cars
The ultimate thrill ride: A custom
made chrome alloy tubular chassis' loaded with a fuel injected, 650
horsepower engine that drinks several gallons of methanol alcohol per
minute. Weighing only 1,200 pounds these opened wheel, fire breathing
machines are constantly on the edge of disaster as they careen around the
track while their drivers try to coax them to the front of the pack.
Modifieds
Half stock car, half open wheeler, the modified offers the best of both
worlds. These hybrid machines are a combination of factory and tubular
frame construction. With hand made aluminum bodies and alcohol carbureted
V8's, these cars attack the track in much the same manner as the Sprint
Cars do, and the drivers of these cars don't mind "mixing it up a bit".

Late Models
The top of the line "run what you brung" stock car class. These cars
feature all tubular chassis, quick change rear ends, hand made aluminum
bodies' and aluminum "big inch" engines on carbureted alcohol. These
machines really move the dirt as they thunder around the track.
Street
Stocks
This class is just a couple of rungs down the ladder from their Late Model
cousins. The requirements for this popular class are factory stock frames
and bodies with minor modifications. Power is provided by factory V8's
with a mix of OEM and after market performance parts that utilize pump or
racing gasoline.
Hobby
Stocks
This is the workhorse class of Saturday night tracks around the country.
These cars are lightly modified from their stock configuration and race on
street tires and pump gasoline. Hobby Stocks have been the entry level
class for many racers who move up the ranks and become front runners in
other divisions.

Mini
Sprints
Like their larger cousin the Sprint Car, these little "open wheel" rockets
also have custom built tubular chassis that are powered by 600 cc
motorcycle engines. Running with and without wings these cars can rival
any class for lap times on most race tracks.
Cruisers
Formerly the "Enduro" class, this is new a new addition to Hollywood Hills
Speedway for the 2007 season. The ultimate "cheap thrills" class; just
kick out the glass, install a roll bar and hit the track. The pure factory
stock requirement with no modifications, keeps this class simple and
affordable. The big attraction of this class is that you can have a
passenger along to share in the thrills.
